Winner of the G1 Norfolk Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday, Oct. 2, Jaycito is from the last US crop by Belmont Stakes winner Victory Gallop.
The best racing and stallion son of Cryptoclearance (also sire of the good South American sire Ride the Rails), Victory Gallop was sold to Turkey in 2008, just a few days after Jaycito was foaled on Jan. 29.
The bay stallion, winner of the Belmont Stakes and $3 million during his racing career, stands at the Karacabey Pension Stud near Izmit, Turkey, for a private fee.
It seems that every stallion gets a pretty fancy runner as soon as he is exported to another jurisdiction. The English have seen this with stallion after stallion sold to Japan and Turkey, and now we have only to wait on the stars to appear from Lion Heart and Dehere, who were sold earlier this year to the Jockey Club of Turkey.
