In his most recent post at Horse Racing Business, Bill Shanklin has a terse analysis on cultural and technological change. He does not bother with lamenting the fact, but instead Shanklin offers some nascent insights into what might be for racing and what our best people might be doing to move our sport in the direction of greater success.
My only suggestion would be: We must make racing the social and entertainment hub for people in the “ever-evolving business and leisure milieu of the 21st century.”
It can be done. Let’s make it so.
